Opportunities for improvements in business productivity abound. Managers need to develop an understanding of productivity and what hinders it in order to identify ways to improve the efficiency and use of resources in their organizations.
The Sunday Times 2007 rankings were determined by the views of 148,645 employees in the UK. The 2007 employee survey contained 70 statements that each fell into one of the eight factors to measure workplace opinion. Staff were asked to score each of the statements on a seven-point scale ranging from 1 (strongly disagree) to 7 (strongly agree).
